"git submodule update --init" gives a "shift: 634: can't shift that many"
Reported by Rasmus Brøndsted | November 8th, 2008 @ 02:19 PM
If I follow the install instructions and do the "git submodule update --init" I get "shift: 634: can't shift that many" right after "vendor/smtp-tls".

if I do a "git submodule update" as the next commande, git fetches the moduls fine.

This looks like a git bug. It works for me fine, but googling for
git "can't shift that many"
shows a lot of results, so you might want to upgrade your version of git (I tried with 1.5.6.4) -
